Fire Types

The Gallery Collection offers a choice of gas or electric appliances to suit almost every chimney flue type. Below is an explanation of how each of these engines differ from one another. Please see the table below for an overview of their key features.

HIGH EFFICIENCY
GLASS FRONTED

Featuring a glass fronted, full depth ceramic coal fuel bed, these engines are the most efficient of all fire types.

CLASS 1
OPEN FRONTED CONVECTOR

A full depth fire suitable for Class 1 chimneys. Convector fires offer greater efficiency ratings than standard open fronted fires. Manual or slide control options available.

DECORATIVE
GAS FIRE

A full depth fire suitable for Class 1 chimneys. The key difference with this type of fire is that it does not feature a canopy and produces radiant heat only.

INSET ELECTRIC
FLAME EFFECT FIRE

The inset electric fire features our latest innovative multi-colour way flame technology. This versatile fire has an impressive range of up to 2kW heat output and is available with a range of contemporary and traditional trims to choose from.
